Strong Words
Ever since I was little (maybe 3 or 4 years old), my mother always told me never to use the word "hate" unless I truly meant it. "It's a strong word," she said. "Use it only when you really mean it." It has been over a decade and a half since she told me that for the first time, and I am nearly certain her view on the word has not changed; my views on that word and a few other words have changed, however, and if you don't want to hear a massively long rant, I suggest you look at something else.
The word "hate" is overused in today's society: "I hate asparagus," "I hate Joey," "I hate the cat next door," etc.&
